Through a series of sessions involving leadership skills, training modules, community issue exploration and group projects, NEL members will advance their proficiency and personal understanding of Nashville’s underlying dynamics. Programming will include:
• Training and skill-based learning
• Issue exploration
• Community event participation
• Exposure to senior leaders in our community
The NEL curriculum provides participants an opportunity to truly glean a better understanding of their motivation, styles and attitudes all of which impact their leadership capabilities. Through proven assessments and interactive exercises, each class member gains perspective not only about themselves but how to effectively communicate and motivate others.
Community leaders who have contributed their time and knowledge to this program include Martha Ingram, Ralph Shultz, Rob Briley, Janet Miller, Howard Gentry and many others. The 2007 schedule will consist of another impressive group of guest speakers.
